Provincial Attestation Letters (PAL)
Most post-secondary study permit applicants must now include a Provincial Attestation Letter from the relevant province or territory alongside their letter of acceptance before lodging an IRCC application.
New Cost of Living Financial Requirement
IRCC has updated the single-applicant living cost requirement to over $20,635 CAD in addition to first-year tuition. Funds must be documented using an approved Guaranteed Investment Certificate (GIC) from eligible Canadian financial institutions.
