Graduates in the United States qualify for 12 months of Optional Practical Training (OPT). If your degree is classified under the official STEM Designated Degree Program list, you can apply for an additional 24-month STEM OPT extension, totaling 36 months of authorized US work.
Canada Post-Graduation Work Permit (PGWP)
Canada offers PGWP permits lasting between 8 months and up to 3 years depending on course duration. Eligible graduates can accumulate Canadian work experience that counts directly toward Express Entry Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) points for permanent residency.
Australia Subclass 485 Temporary Graduate Visa
Australia provides Post-Higher Education Work stream visas offering 2 to 4 years of work rights depending on study qualification and whether you studied in designated regional metropolitan centers like Adelaide, Perth, or Brisbane.
